XPANCEO

XPANCEO is a Dubai-based deep-tech company developing smart contact lenses that combine electronics and biotechnology for augmented-reality display and health monitoring. It was founded in 2021 by entrepreneur Roman Axelrod and physicist Valentyn Volkov, is still in product development, and reached unicorn status in 2025.
