George Rahhal Builds Capital Haus on a Decade of Dubai Relationships

George Rahhal moved to Dubai from Sydney 11 years before Entrepreneur Middle East published this profile on September 15, 2026. His background is in finance and economics. His reason for the move was straightforward: he wanted to step out of his comfort zone.

Networking came first. Rahhal says he started building his personal brand as soon as he arrived, and over time that work put him at tables with the founding drivers behind the growth and success of the UAE, where he brought investment management expertise.

He works with Capital Haus. His role there covers business growth, entering new markets, investing across complementary business verticals, strengthening the brand and creating alignment across the wider group. He describes himself as analytical and as a people person, a pairing the remit leans on.

His interest in building across markets came from contrast. Australia's financial environment is mature. The broader international landscape looked different to him, and the gap pointed to room for a more modern approach to investment and portfolio management, one built on hands-on service and attention to individual client objectives.

The UAE suits that model. It brings together entrepreneurs, investors, family offices, business leaders and professionals whose interests often extend across multiple markets. Serving clients in that setting means holding several jurisdictions in view at once rather than working a single-market book, which is closer to where Capital Haus says it is heading.

The firm has surpassed $1 billion in assets under management and is entering its fifth jurisdiction. That expansion is the operational test of the alignment work Rahhal describes. Rahhal's own focus today includes new markets and offshore business verticals. On picking opportunities, he applies a fit test: an opportunity should sit logically with what the organisation already understands or is trying to build.

Industry events form part of his calendar. He has joined an expert panel at an alternative investment summit, and a family office summit is coming up. Outside business, he completed his Masters degree and finished his first triathlon.

His stated priorities include inspiration, mentoring, business alignment and longer-term influence. He wants his public positioning to centre on entrepreneurship, investing, innovation, integrity and industry expertise. The network behind all of it was built from nothing over more than a decade. It now informs how he evaluates people, opportunities and growth.
