Syria's Percent Labs closes seed round above $1 million valuation
The Syrian foodtech startup runs several delivery-focused food brands from shared cloud kitchens and aims to quadruple its monthly order volume within 18 months.
Percent Labs, a Syrian foodtech company that operates a portfolio of delivery-focused food brands, has closed a seed funding round at a valuation above $1 million. The company did not disclose the amount raised. The round drew backing from Syrian angel investors based outside the country.
The startup was founded in 2025 by Khaled Al Hosini, Soubhi Bakri and Jawad Shebli, roughly 14 months before the round was announced. It builds and runs food brands that share production space and back-office operations rather than each opening its own restaurant. Product development, marketing and daily operations are handled centrally.
Percent Labs describes its multi-brand cloud kitchen setup as a way for several food businesses to share production facilities and operational infrastructure. Its brands are built for delivery rather than dine-in. The model is meant to hold down operating costs and let the company add brands without the capital spending a standalone outlet per brand would require. Percent Labs also uses artificial intelligence to work through operational data, inform decisions and tighten efficiency.
Percent Labs currently handles more than 10,000 orders a month. It wants to pass 40,000 monthly orders within 18 months, about four times its present volume, by adding capacity, growing the brands already in the portfolio and launching new food concepts. The fresh capital goes toward that expansion, upgrades to the operational infrastructure and development of new products and brands.
The investment is also aimed at strengthening the company's operating infrastructure as it seeks a larger presence in Syria's restaurant and food delivery market.
The shared-kitchen approach ties growth to how well the company reads demand across its portfolio rather than to securing new sites, which is why the order target rests on capacity and brand mix as much as on capital.
